Another 2 years since I was last on here .. doesn't feel like it's been that long ! What's new in my life? It's been 4 years since I last updated here, wowww. Looking back on some of my old work, I was definitely going through a rough time .. As much as I cringe over some of the work I'll keep it up so that in the future I'll be reminded of how far I've come. Someone really turned my world upside down in 2008, and omg did it take me forever to get back to being a decent person. Here I am 8 years later, married, and with a daughter. holy fuck. A few updates ! - I'm in the middle of the 7th surah of the Quran. I went on a fierce reading fest over the last few days. - I started eating Halal yesterday. So far, there has been no problems, aside from a bit of disappointment at Subway when I realized that I can't eat my favourite sandwich any more. - I did my first prayer tonight, the Isha prayer at 7:38 pm. The Arabic was difficult to pronounce, and I know that I made a few mistakes.. but inshallah I'll get better. - I've decided that I'm going to wear a Hijab .. - I spoke to my boss about wearing Hijab while on the job, and if there will be any problems.
